Housekeeping
Cruise ships are literally floating hotels and passengers boarding on a cruise ship expect to live a dream. Crew members are required to meet and exceed the expectations of their guests. The Housekeeping department is always behind the scenes but makes the entire ship worth living or staying on. The housekeepers are very busy keeping the ship "ship shape." They have a big responsibility in ensuring that passengers live that dream by providing a high level of service, making sure that they have a clean and sparkling cabin and clean linen and towels throughout their stay. They also handle the laundry, which is an ongoing chore, and includes the washing of the crew uniforms.

Food and Beverage
Cruise ships are literally floating hotels and passengers boarding on a cruise ship expect to live a dream. Crew members are required to meet and exceed the expectations of their guests. On a cruise ship, the Food and Beverage department is among the largest section in terms of crew size. They are the ones that prepare and serve the many delicious meals and mouth-watering desserts, snacks, and beverages in the restaurants, lounges and bars. The Food & Beverage staff work hard to create and present the many different foods and meals that can be found in various places on the ship. It takes many different people all working together in an organized way to provide some of the great meals.

Beauty and Spa Therapy
Cruise ships are literally floating hotels and passengers boarding on a cruise ship expect to live a dream. Crew members are required to meet and exceed the expectations of their guests. Today every major cruise line outfits its ships with wondrous spa facilities that include salon and barber services, spa treatments (for women, men and, sometimes, even teens), thalassotherapy pools and thermal relaxation areas. Spas are so popular that prime-time appointments for treatments often fill up on embarkation day. Spa enthusiasts in the know frequently hit the reservation desk even before visiting the buffet or unpacking.
